Sascha Nicolai was born in Berlin in 1973 where he studied German language and literature, philosophy as well as journalism and communication science.
He gathered journalistic experience at the newspaper “Frankfurter Rundschau”, the German Press Agency dpa and the newspaper “Berliner Zeitung”. After first jobs with Daimler Chrysler Services AG in Berlin and in the banking firm Merck Finck & Co Privatbankiers in Munich, Nicolai had worked as a press relations officer for the French Information Centre for Industry and Commerce in the Department of Economy and Trade of the French Embassy in Düsseldorf since July 2004.
Since 16 April 2007 Sascha Nicolai has been working as a Communication Consultant for the Association.
